Uses
Farobact 200 (Faropenem) belongs to a class of medications called beta-lactam antibiotics. It is used by many patients to treat a wide range of infections caused by bacteria, such as respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, pulmonary suppuration), otitis externa, tympanitis, sinusitis, skin infections (folliculitis, impetigo, hidradenitis), cystitis and other similar infections, as well as treating adnexitis and other gynaecological infections.

Dosage and Administration
Farobact 200 (Faropenem) comes in the form of 200mg tablets. Before you can start taking this medication, you are required to consult your doctor, for a thorough medical examination. The appropriate dosage will be prescribed. Adult patients are sometimes told to take this medicine 3 times per day, however, this can vary, depending on the particular type of infection being treated, as well as other factors. Side effects

• Oedema
• Agranulocytosis
• Muscle softening
• Vitamin K deficiency
• Abnormal liver test results

Precautions
