The active ingredient in these tablets belongs to a group of medications known as NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs). It treats pain and other symptoms of arthritis by decreasing the hormones which can cause swelling and other painful symptoms.
Dosage and Administration
Patients who are taking Muvera (Meloxicam) tablets must follow the directions provided to them by the prescribing doctor. In addition to this, patients are advised to carefully read the information leaflet or packaging. The vast majority of patients using this medication will be told to take it once per day. The tablet may be taken with a meal or snack, or without food. However, it is necessary to swallow each dose whole with a glass of water.
