Uses
Robinax (Methocarbamol) is a muscle relaxant. It slows down and blocks the pain signals which are sent from the nerve to the brain. This helps to relax the body, and makes it useful for treating pain causing by muscular injuries, sprains and strains. While patients are taking this drug, they are often directed to undergo physical therapy and rest, so as to help treat their symptoms.

Dosage and Administration
If you are suffering from muscle pain or other related conditions, and you have been told by your doctor to take Robinax (Methocarbamol) tablets, it is essential that every instruction provided by your doctor is strictly adhered to. It is possible that you will be told to take this drug 3 to 4 times per day. However, in some cases, an adjustment of the dosage may be required after treatment has commenced.

Side effects
It is important to note that Robinax (Methocarbamol) can cause side effects. You must inform your doctor if any of the following symptoms become severe or persistent:

• Problems with memory
• A blocked or stuffy nose
• Difficulty sleeping properly
• Unusual discolouration of urine
• Redness of the eyes or blurred vision

Serious side effects which require you to seek immediate medical attention may also occur. Examples include signs of fever, seizures and severe dizziness. In some cases, severe adverse reactions other than those listed here may also occur. See your doctor straight away if this occurs.

Precautions
Alcohol may worsen the side effects of this drug. Because of this, your doctor may direct you to avoid alcohol while undergoing treatment with this drug.

There is a slight possibility that drowsiness may occur in patients who take this drug. Do not drive or operate dangerous machinery unless you feel that you are fully able to do so.

Seek immediate emergency medical attention if you suffer an allergic reaction. Symptoms to watch for, which may be indicative of a reaction, include skin rashes, hives, swelling of the face or limbs, trouble breathing, and trouble swallowing.

Always use Robinax (Methocarbamol) as you have been prescribed by your doctor. Never self-medicate or change your dosage without first consulting your doctor. The correct dosage can vary depending on your health, medical history, and the severity of the condition being treated.

This medication may not be safe for all patients. Before you begin using it always disclose the following to your doctor:
