Uses
Modavigil (Modafinil) is a drug that belongs to the class of analeptics and used as a highly effective therapy for narcolepsy (excessive daytime sleepiness), obstructive sleep apnoea, and shift-work sleep disorder, also as a psychostimulant or as a sports supplement. Active research is underway to expand the scope of this drug Modavigil (Modafinil). Possible directions of using modafinil are cocaine addiction, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, schizophrenia, and also for the improvement of mental activity after chemotherapy. Also actively exploring the possibility of using modafinil to accelerate weight loss.
