Dosage and Administration
Naloxone is a vial of liquid that will need to be injected. It can be injected intramuscularly, intravenously or under the skin. It should be injected by a medical practitioner or by a person who has read the injection instructions.

Naloxone is to be used in emergency cases only and should not be a replacement for expert medical attention.

Repeated injections may be required depending on response of the person who has overdosed.

Side effects
