Uses
Pantosec (Pantoprazole) is widely used to treat a variety of medical conditions which can affect the stomach, such as peptic ulcers, duodenal ulcers, gastro oesophageal reflux disease, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, acid indigestion and other related conditions. This drug is known by medical professionals as a proton pump inhibitor, and it acts by decreasing the production of stomach acid. Patients whose oesophagus has become damaged by stomach acid may benefit from this, as reduced production of stomach acid can allow the stomach and oesophagus to recover from acid damage.
