Uses
Itoprid (Itopride) is indicated for the treatment of non-ulcer dyspepsia (also referred to as chronic gastritis). It is prescribed to relieve gastrointestinal symptoms of this condition, such as pain in the abdomen, vomiting, nausea, indigestion, bloating and other symptoms.
Dosage and Administration
The correct dosage for patients taking Itoprid (Itopride) can differ, depending on the individual circumstances of the patient undergoing treatment. In some cases, adults are told to take 50mg, 3 times per day, before meals. Generally, doctors tell patients to take the dosage on an empty stomach, before eating.
