Uses
Azopt Eye Drops (Brinzolamide) is used to reduce the quantity of fluid in the eye, which in turn leads to a decrease in high pressure inside the patient's eye. This high pressure inside the eye is normally caused by glaucoma or other diseases affecting the eyes. By reducing the high pressure, these eye drops help to prevent blindness or other serious damage to the eye. The active ingredient in this medication is in a group of drugs known as carbonic anhydrase inhibitors.
