Uses
Pascorbin is an injectible form of Ascorbic Acid, otherwise known as vitamin C. Much of the Vitamin C that is taken orally is excreted through the urine. Intravenous injections can prevent this, allowing for higher concentrations in the blood. This is of benefit to people suffering from Vitamin C deficiency, and is becoming a popular supplementary treatment for some forms of cancer.

Pascorbin has been used as a cancer treatment in Germany. Patients have reported having higher quality of when taking high-dose Ascorbic Acid injections. Laboratory studies have also shown that high ascorbic acid concentrations can selectively kill cancer cells.

Pascorbin is a 50mL bottle of liquid containing 7.5mg of ascorbic acid (vitamin C).

Precautions
Vitamin C deficiency is a condition where you do not have a high enough concentration of vitamin C available to your body. Oral Vitamin C can have trouble treating this, as the body can only take up a small amount of vitamin C and the rest in excreted in urine. This is not the case for vitamin C injections.
