Uses
Revocon (Tetrabenazine) is used for a wide range of movement disorders, including Huntington's chorea and tardive dyskinesia. It may be used by patients who are suffering from uncontrolled bodily movements caused by antipsychotic medications. Medical experts believe that this drug works by reducing the amount of neurotransmitters in the brain (noradrenaline, dopamine and serotonin). Dosage and Administration
Revocon (Tetrabenazine) comes as 25mg tablets. Adults who are being treated for Huntington's disease are sometimes told by their doctor to start out with 12.5mg per day for the first week of treatment, and 12.5mg taken twice per day for the second week.
