Sodium Ascorbate Solution is a high-dose concentration of Vitamin C in solution for injection or infusion. Some people who are Vitamin C deficient cannot obtain sufficient Vitamin C orally. Cancer patients have recently been receiving Sodium Ascorbate injections as part of their treatment.
Dosage and Administration
Sodium Ascorbate solution is packaged as a 100mL vial containing 30g of sodium ascorbate. The solution is intended for use by infusion or injection.
Injections are usually performed in a doctor`s surgery or hospital. If they are being given at home, the person administering the injection must have been advised how to do so by medical staff.
Dosages will vary according to individual characteristics and the condition being treated. Follow all directions given by your doctor when you were prescribed this medicine.
Side effects
Side effects can occur while taking any medicine. You have been prescribed this vitamin because your doctor has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this vitamin experience no serious side effects.
