Uses
XLS Medical Carb Blocker is an anti-obesity treatment which works by reducing the levels of calories that are absorbed from any carbohydrates that are consumed. This helps to improve weight loss effort, and may even contribute to a reduction in waist size. Various medical studies have demonstrated this treatment's efficacy in reducing calorie absorption by as much as 66 per cent.
These tablets contain a unique and concentred glycoprotein protein complex that has been derived from the plant Phaseolus vulgaris, which is widely used in dietary supplements designed to function as slimming aids. It is known to act as an inhibitor of the protein enzyme that hydrolyses starch and produces glucose (alpha-amylase). When administered prior to the consumption of a meal, this medicine starts to work in the stomach. After carbohydrates have been consumed, they pass into the intestine.
Normally all of the carbohydrates will be broken down into glucose. However, the main ingredient in these capsules starts to work when it enters the intestine, where it starts to inhibit alpha-amylase. Even though a certain amount of carbs are broken down, most carbohydrates are prevented from being metabolized. Instead, they are eliminated from the body.
