Uses
ZyHCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) is a hormone injection with a number of uses. It is sometimes given to certain women as a fertility treatment, to help induce ovulation. Young male patients are sometimes prescribed this medication to assist normal sexual development as well as to assist the testicles to drop into the scrotum. Men with a low sperm count may also be prescribed this medication to increase their count. Some patients have used this drug for weight loss, however it has not been approved for this usage. This product comes packaged complete with one sealed single-use needle suitable for administering this medication.
Dosage and administration
ZyHCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) is injected by a doctor or health care professional. Patients who administer the medication themselves will be provided with a demonstration by a health care professional beforehand.
The medication is normally injected into the thigh or buttocks. After injection, the injection site may be covered with a small bandage if necessary. The usual dose prescribed for young male patients is 3 times per week. For female patients, the usually dosage prescribed is only one injection, to be administered after the completion of menotropin treatment.
Side effects
ZyHCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) may cause pain or irritation at the injection site, as well as headaches and/or restlessness.

This medication should not be used by female patients who are pregnant. Females breastfeeding should only do so if their doctor has told them that it is safe to do so.
Seek immediate emergency medical attention if you suffer an allergic reaction. Symptoms to watch for, which may be indicative of a reaction, include skin rashes, hives, swelling of the face or limbs, trouble breathing, and trouble swallowing.
Always use ZyHCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) as you have been prescribed by your doctor. Never self-medicate or change your dosage without first consulting your doctor. The correct dosage can vary depending on your health, medical history, and the severity of the condition being treated.
