Uses
Zytix (Abiraterone Acetate) is used to treat prostate cancer that is resistant to medical or surgical treatments and has spread to other parts of the body. It is always prescrible alongside prednisone.
Dosage and Administration
Zytix is packaged in a box of 6 tablets. Each tablet contains 250mg of Abiraterone Acetate.
Follow the dosage instructions given by your doctor.
Abiraterone must be taken on an empty stomach (ie. at least two hours after and at least one hour before taking food).
Zytix tablets must not be crushed or chewed. Swallow each tablet whole with a glass of water.

Precautions
Some conditions can inhibit Zytix from working as intended. Tell your doctor if you:
Zytix must not be taken by anybody who is pregnant or planning to become pregnant. Pregnant women must not contact Zytix tablets. Make sure to wear gloves if handling Zytix. Tell your doctor if you are breastfeeding or plan to breastfeed.
Make sure your doctor is aware of all other medicines, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are taking, as these can interfere with Zytix.
Men who are sexually active with women while taking Zytix must wear a condom. If there is a chance female sexual partner may become pregnant while using a condom, another form of contraception must also be used. Continue to use condoms and other contraception for at least one week after you stop taking Zytix.
