Uses
Qlaira (Estradiol Valerate/Dienogest) is a medication used by women to prevent pregnancy. It may also be prescribed by your doctor to help manage other conditions.

Dosage and administration
Always following the dosage instructed by your doctor. Typically, start on the first day of your period and take 1 Qlaira (Estradiol Valerate/Dienogest) pill at the same time every day on an empty stomach. By the 4th week you should have a period that will is lighter and shorter in comparison.

Side effects
When taking Qlaira (Estradiol Valerate/Dienogest), you should consult your doctor immediately if you suffer from the any of the following side effects:

• Lightheadedness
• Bloating
• An upset stomach
• Nausea
• Abnormal hair growth
• Vaginal infections
• Changes to your weight
• Hot flushes
• Hair loss.
• Abnormal vaginal bleeding
• Numb arms or legs
• Sudden shortness of breath
• Dizziness
• Changes in your speech
• Chest pain
• Jaundice
• Migraines
• Vomiting

Precautions
If you have been prescribed Qlaira (Estradiol Valerate/Dienogest), you should discuss any of the following with your doctor if they apply to you.

• Any allergies you have
• If you are trying to conceive, currently pregnant, or if you are breastfeeding
• Details of any other prescription or non-prescription medication, and any herbal or dietary supplements you use such as vitamins
• If you smoke or consume alcohol
• If you have a history of heart disease, smoking, cancer, stroke, liver or blood clotting problems, jaundice, obesity, asthma, gallbladder disease, high blood pressure, drug or alcohol abuse/dependence, migraines, rapid weight gain, pancreas disease, or have porphyria.
