Although regular treatment with this drug can reduce the occurrence of angina attacks, it is not meant for use to provide relief during an angina attack.
Dosage and Administration
Ranx (Ranolazine) tablets must be taken regularly in order to effectively control angina symptoms. A visit to your doctor is required before taking this medicine, so that the correct dosage can be prescribed. Adult patients are normally told to take this medication twice per day. Remember that this medication should not be used to treat a sudden angina attack. You must ask your doctor what to do should this occur.
