Uses
Rosulip (Rosuvastatin) works by reducing the level of bad cholesterol (LDL or low density lipoprotein), while at the same time increasing the level of the protein (HDL or high density lipoprotein) which is effective at protecting the arteries against atherosclerosis (clogging of the arteries). The production of other fats in the blood is also reduced as a result of treatment with this drug. When used alongside a healthy diet and frequent exercise, this drug can help to lower cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart disease.

Dosage and Administration
Depending on the condition you are using Rosulip (Rosuvastatin) for, your doctor will prescribe a suitable and safe dosage for you. Treatment of atherosclerosis, hyperlipoproteinemia, elevated LDL levels sometimes requires a dose of 5mg to 10mg, taken once per day without regard to meals. This may then be adjusted, and a maintenance dose of 5mg to 40mg may be prescribed. Remember that the dosages listed here may vary for each individual patient, and it is essential to consult your doctor prior to commencing treatment.
