Shaltop Solution (Minoxidil/Tretinoin) is a topical hair loss treatment combining 2 different ingredients, aimed at stimulating the growth of new hair and stopping the balding process in adult men affected by male pattern hair loss. Minoxidil is known to have vasodilative properties, however when applied topically to the scalp it has been proven to slow down the loss of hair while also leading to an increase in follicles and a thicker growth of new hair.

Some doctors have suggested that this may be due to it causing the blood vessels to become wider, thereby allowing for an increased amount of oxygen and other nutrients to reach the hair follicles, causing new hair growth.
