Uses
Trichozole (Metronidazole) is known as a nitroimidazole antibiotic and it is considered especially useful if used for treating infections caused by protozoa, anaerobic bacteria (bacteria that do not need oxygen in order to grow) and other microorganisms. Conditions treated include infections of the stomach, intestines, urinary tract, bones, lungs, blood, joints and other areas of the body. In addition to this, it may be prescribed as a treatment for gum ulcers and dental infections, and doctors often prescribe it to prevent infections caused by surgery.
