Uses
Tugain Solution (Minoxidil) is used to promote new hair and treat male pattern hair loss by revitalizing the follicles. The active ingredient, Minoxidil, is categorized as a vasodilator which can widen the arteries and increase blood flow. It works by dilating the arteries at the hair follicle, which helps to increase the flow of blood into the dermal papillae, so as to provide the hair follicles with increased nourishment and oxygen.

Dosage and Administration
Always use Tugain Solution (Minoxidil) as you have been prescribed by your doctor. Never self-medicate or change your dosage without first consulting your doctor. The correct dosage can vary depending on your health, medical history, and the severity of the condition being treated.

Tugain Solution (Minoxidil) comes as a 10% formulation and is provided in a 60ml bottle. It may take 2 months or more for noticable hair regrowth. If you discontinue treatment, any newly grown hair will fall out. Therefore, continued treatment is needed in order to maintain the positive effects.

Side effects
Topical use of Tugain Solution (Minoxidil) might cause some side effects, including:

• Redness
• Flaky scalp
• Itchy sensation
• Irritation at the treated area

Your doctor should be made aware if any side effects are experienced. Serious side effects are considered rare, however, you will need to go to the hospital straight away if any severe reactions do occur.

Precautions
