Uses
Zithromac (Azithromycin Hydrate) is an antibiotic medication, or more specifically, a macrolide antibiotic. It has a broad range of action against may different infections caused by bacteria that are susceptible to its active ingredient. Doctors often used it as a chlamydia treatment or to treat gonorrhoea that is uncomplicated.

In addition to treating sexually transmitted diseases, other infections, such as pneumonia, bronchitis, nasal passage infections, throat infections, skin infections, ear infections, typhoid, Lyme disease and many different bacterial infections are usually effectively treated with this medicine. Infections occurring as a result of a virus cannot be treated with this medicine.

Dosage and Administration
Zithromac (Azithromycin Hydrate) 250mg tablets can be used as a treatment for many different types of infection. As a result of this, a different dosage (and treatment period) will be required for each patient, depending on the specific condition that needs to be treated. However, one of the most important things to remember when taking antibiotics is that treatment must continue for the full period of time prescribed, unless told otherwise by your doctor. Stopping treatment too early might cause the infection to return, even if the symptoms appear to have improved.

Side effects
