Uses
Clokeran (Chlorambucil) is an anti-cancer chemotherapy drug which is used to treat a variety of cancers, such as Hodgkin's disease, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, Waldenstrom's macroglobulinaemia, chronic lymphocytic leukaemia and other conditions as deemed necessary by the prescribing doctor. The active ingredient in this medication is known as an alkylating agent. It works by binding to the DNA in cancer cells and causing damage to these cells. This in turn can prevent the growth and multiplication of the cancer cells.
