Uses
Elocon Cream (Mometasone Furoate) is used to provide relief from the symptoms of dermatoses which are responsive to corticosteroid treatment. It is a vasoconstrictive and antipruritic agent which works by reducing inflammation. The precise way in which corticosteroids achieve their anti-inflammatory benefits are not fully clear.
Dosage and Administration

Patients must not bandage the treated area or cover it with any occlusive dressings unless the doctor in charge of treatment strictly tells them to do so. Treatment is generally withdrawn once the symptoms are under control. Should the condition show no signs of improvement after 2 weeks, a doctor should be consulted.
