Uses
Galvus (Vildagliptin) is used to control and treat patients suffering from type 2 diabetes. The active ingredient known as Vidagliptin is in a class of drugs called DPP-4 inhibitors. It helps the body to produce more insulin (required to control blood sugar), and also reduces the production of a certain hormone (glucagon). Decreasing glucagon production helps to lower glucose levels in the patient`s blood.

Dosage and Administration

Side effects
