Ivabrad

Uses
Ivabrad (Ivabradine) is used to treat the symptoms of chronic angina. It helps to reduce the pain associated with angina by slowing down the heart beat. By slowing the heart beat down the hearts demand for oxygen, thereby minimizing the risk of an angina attack occurring. This is especially effective at times when an angina attack would be more likely to occur, such as during exercise or times of other physical exertion.

Dosage and Administration
Ivabrad (Ivabradine) tablets are taken orally. As the exact dosage may vary, patients should first consult their physician in order to determine the correct dosage required to treat their particular condition. Patients should never exceed the dosage recommended to them by their physician.

Side effects
Some side effects have been reported by patients taking Ivabrad (Ivabradine). These may include:

• Momentary increased brightness in their vision
• Slow heart rate
• Heart contractions or palpitations
• Muscle cramps
• Vertigo

If any of these effects persist or worsen, you should consult your physician immediately.

Precautions
