Uses
Seroquel (Quetiapine Fumarate) tablets are used for schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and major depressive disorder. In some cases, it may be used with other drugs. This medicine works by acting on neurotransmitters (including dopamine and serotonin) in the brain which helps to control the mood and behaviour in patients with schizophrenia. Medical studies have been carried out focusing on the effects of this drug if used for treating alcoholism, Tourette's syndrome, anxiety, post traumatic stress and borderline personality disorder.
Dosage and Administration
Patients who are taking Seroquel (Quetiapine Fumarate) must never take more than the amount prescribed by their doctor.
