Dytor (Torsemide) is a diuretic (more commonly referred to as a water pill) which is used to treat the symptoms of oedema (fluid retention). Fluid retention frequently occurs as a result of illnesses such as kidney disease, liver disease or heart failure. This drug works by causing the body to produce more urine, thereby getting rid of unneeded water and salt. Doing so can help to relieve breathlessness and inflammation in the limbs. Another use for this drug is treating high blood pressure.

Dosage and Administration
Dytor (Torsemide) tablets are taken by mouth. When taking this medication, it is very important to follow the instructions provided by your doctor. A medical consultation is necessary before you begin treatment, so that the proper dosage can be determined. Adults are usually told to take this medication once per day, and doctors recommend taking it in the morning. Do not exceed the recommended dosage, as doing so can be dangerous.

Side effects
