Uses
Glowlite Cream (Hydroquinone/Tretinoin/Mometasone Furoate) is a used for melasma and hyperpigmented skin. Its mechanism of action involves lightening the skin and removing excess pigments while also reducing inflammation.
Hydroquinone is a used bleaching agent that has become popular with dermatologists. When applied, it penetrates the skin and block melanogenesis. This in turn helps reduce the amount of melanin that is found in the skin, resulting in a lightening effect and whiter skin. Tretinoin works in various ways, one of which is helping to increase the amount of pigment removal in the skin by causing an increase in the proliferation of skin cell turnover. Mometasone Furoate is added so as to lessen any possible inflammation that may occur as a result of the other ingredients. It may even help to block melanocytes from being metabolised.
