Uses
Gynokadin Dosiergel (Estradiol) is used for hormone replacement therapy (HRT) so as to relieve menopausal symptoms. The main ingredient in this gel is similar to the oestrogen that is normally produced by the body, and it works by replacing the depleted oestrogen that occurs as a result of the menopause. Indications for this gel include hot flashes and vaginal symptoms (dryness, itchiness and a burning sensation) when these symptoms range from moderate to severe in nature.

Menopausal symptoms occur due to the changes in the body, such as decreased oestrogen production. This can cause discomfort and disrupt sleep, due to the hot flashes. In many cases, the symptoms are serious enough to disrupt the day to day life of the patient. Your doctor may recommend the use of a gel such as this one, so as to help manage your symptoms.

Dosage and Administration
Gynokadin Dosiergel (Estradiol) should be applied as directed by your doctor. Each pump application delivers 1.25g of the gel, which contains 0.75mg of the active ingredient. The gel is applied to the arm. Usually, a thin layer of gel is squeezed onto the arm and gently rubbed in from the wrist to the shoulder. The amount of applications per day may vary depending on the condition, and it will be necessary to follow the directions given by your doctor. Ensure that you fully wash and dry your hands after application so as to make sure you do not accidentally spread the gel to others.

Side effects
Use of Gynokadin Dosiergel (Estradiol) might result in side effects, which may include:
