Uses
Microgest (Micronised Progesterone) is an orally administered female hormone that occurs naturally in the body. It can help the body to regulate such processes as ovulation and menstruation. Uses include helping to restore periods in women whose periods have stopped occurring because of a progesterone deficiency. In addition to this, it is often administered to postmenopausal females undergoing HRT (hormone replacement therapy) so as to help stop the lining of the womb from experiencing overgrowth.

This particular version of progesterone is different from other medications that contain the same hormone, in that it has undergone a process called micronization, which helps to improve its bioavailability and ensure that the active ingredient is effectively and properly absorbed by the body.

Dosage and Administration
Microgest (Micronised Progesterone) is provided in capsule form, and the soft gel capsules are intended for either vaginal use or else administration by mouth. This particular variety contains 200mg of the active ingredient. If this medicine is being used alongside oestrogen hormone replacement therapy, your doctor will assess the goals of treatment and the severity of your condition, and determine the dosage regimen accordingly. You will be required to strictly adhere to all dosage instructions given by the doctor during treatment.

Side effects
Women using the hormone treatment Microgest (Micronised Progesterone) might exhibit some signs of side effects, including:

• Sore breasts
• Cold symptoms
• Muscular soreness
• Depressed mood and mood changes
