Uses
Minomycin (Minocycline) is a type of antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections, such as those occurring in the respiratory or urinary tract. It can also treat other symptoms including acne, pneumonia, and gonorrhoea. This medication is proven to alleviate these symptoms by inhibiting the growth of the bacteria causing these infections, enabling the body's immune system to fight and eliminate the infection.
Dosage and Administration
Patients taking Minomycin (Minocycline) are usually instructed to dose twice per day by their doctor. The exact dosage varies and patients should take only the amount prescribed to them by their doctor. It is important to continue taking this medication for the entire period for which it was prescribed, even if your symptoms have disappeared. Patients who stop taking this medication without completing the treatment course prescribed to them are at risk of having the infection return in a form which is much harder to treat.
