Uses
Oflox (Ofloxacin) is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic which is prescribed to patients suffering from a number of bacterial infections, including skin, urinary tract, prostate, bladder infections, as well as other bacterial infections. The active ingredient in this drug works by preventing the spread and growth of the bacteria. However, it will not treat viral infections.
Dosage and Administration
Oflox (Ofloxacin) tablets must be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Adult patient may be instructed to take it twice per day. The period of treatment required depends on how severe the condition is, and is decided by the prescribing doctor. It ranges from 3 days to 6 weeks. Take this drug for the entire prescribed period, and do not prematurely discontinue treatment, as this may result in your symptoms returning.
