Uses
Tiova Rotacaps (Tiotropium Bromide) are used to prevent narrowing of the airways in the lungs (bronchospasm) in patients suffering from COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchitis or emphysema. When used regularly, it is considered to be effective at preventing breathing difficulties and other related symptoms in those affected by lung disease. The active ingredient in this medication is known as a bronchodilator. It works by widening (dilating) the airways in the lungs, which in turn helps the patient to breathe easier.
Dosage and Administration
