Uses
Acivir 800 (Acyclovir) is prescribed for patients with skin infections, mouth infections, chicken pox, herpes, shingles, and a range of other related conditions. It is an antiviral drug which is effective in managing the conditions listed above and preventing them, however will not cure them. It works be preventing virus cells from further growth and reproduction.

Dosage and Administration

Prescriptions usually range between 2 and 5 Acivir 800 (Acyclovir) tablets per day, over a course lasting between 2 and 10 days in length.

Side effects

Less common side effects which are more serious include dizziness, weakness, leg pain or discomfort, numb sensations, tingling sensations, and sore throats. Report any of these side effects to your doctor immediately.

Precautions
