Uses
Lamictal Dc (Lamotrigine) is taken to prevent or treat seizures in patients suffering from epilepsy or a disorder called Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, which causes delayed development and seizures. Another use for this drug is delaying severe episodes of mania and depression in patients affected by bipolar disorder. This drug belongs to a class of medicines known as anticonvulsants, and it helps to prevent and control seizures by reducing abnormal electrical activity in the brain.
Dosage and Administration
The dosage regimen required for patients taking Lamictal Dc (Lamotrigine) to treat seizures varies greatly, and your doctor will determine the dosage regimen required for you based on numerous factors, including which other medicine you are taking for epilepsy, as well as the severity of your condition.
