Uses
Lamitor DT (Lamotrigine) is an anticonvulsant drug which is widely used either on its own or together with other drugs to treat and prevent seizures in patients with epilepsy. It is also used to prevent and control mania and other extreme mood changes in patients suffering from bipolar disorder. This drug is believed to work by helping to re-establish the balance of naturally occurring substances in the brain, which may lead to a reduction of the abnormal brain activity which can cause seizures and other symptoms.
Dosage and Administration
