This method of stopping smoking is commonly called 'nicotine-replacement therapy'.
Dosage and Administration
Always follow the instructions given by your doctor or provided on the packaging.
Nicorette (Nicotine) patches remain effective for approximately 24 hours. Never apply more than one patch per day.
Apply only to hairless areas of skin such as the arms hips or chest. Avoid areas which will be subject to constant friction such as the waist, as this may weaken the adhesive and prevent the patch from working properly. Alternate the location of patches, never applying a new patch to the same location you last used.
Never abruptly cease using these patches. Always do so gradually and consult your doctor for advice.
