Uses
Lamisil Topical Spray (Terbinafine) is used to treat the skin for fungal infections. It is commonly prescribed to treat itchiness, burning and cracking of the skin associated with athlete's feet. Other uses include treating jock itch (tinea cruris), ringworm (tinea corporis), tinea versicolor, cutaneous candidiasis and other fungal skin infections. The active ingredient in this medicated spray works by destroying the fungi responsible for causing the infection.

Dosage and Administration
Lamisil Topical Spray (Terbinafine) must be used as instructed by your doctor. You will be given instructions on how to properly apply the spray. If you are treating athlete's foot, you may be told to spray it between the toes, twice per day for a period of one week. During the course of treatment, it is necessary for you to change your socks at least once every day. Other conditions may require different application procedures or dosage regimens. Therefore, all patients must visit their doctor before using this spray.

Side effects
Some patients who use Lamisil Topical Spray (Terbinafine) may experience a mild itching sensation, or else stinging or redness of the skin at the application site. If you notice severe stinging, oozing or blistering (or any other signs of a serious reaction), you should immediately consult your doctor.

Precautions
While using this spray, you should not allow any of it to get in the mouth, eyes, nose, genitals, ears or any other sensitive parts of the body.

This spray should not be applied to broken skin.

Seek immediate emergency medical attention if you suffer an allergic reaction. Symptoms to watch for, which may be indicative of a reaction, include skin rashes, hives, swelling of the face or limbs, trouble breathing, and trouble swallowing.

Always use Lamisil Topical Spray (Terbinafine) as you have been prescribed by your doctor. Never self-medicate or change your dosage without first consulting your doctor. The correct dosage can vary depending on your health, medical history, and the severity of the condition being treated.

This medication may not be safe for all patients. Before you begin using it always disclose the following to your doctor:
